Pine Mountain Recreation Area, Cartersville, Georgia
Join the Cartersville Parks & Recreation Department as they host these guided hikes on Cartersville's Pine Mountain Trail. The hikes depart from the West Trailhead and embark on a 1.57 mile hike to the summit at 1,562 feet above sea level for a stunning view of Allatoona Lake, the Etowah River Valley and the lights of Cartersville. While these hikes are designed to take advantage of the light of the full moon, participants may wish to bring a flashlight. Hikes may be canceled due to bad weather. In May/June arrive at 8:45 p.m. Hike will depart at 9 p.m. Call for other departure times.

Directions
EAST LOOP TRAILHEAD: I-75 Exit 290, GA 20 east, then right at traffic light onto Spur 20. Go approximately 4 miles to parking area on right. WEST LOOP TRAILHEAD: I-75 Exit 288, go east, then right at Pine Mountain Trail and Komatsu signs. The trailhead parking area is on the left just before the gated entrance to Komatsu.
