 This 5.6-mile Trail Run is hosted by Peachtree Tri Club. Check-in at 8:30 am, Start time at 9 am. The course will follow the Yellow Vineyard Mountain Eagle Scout Trail out-and-back. The trail traverses the forested slopes of Vineyard Mountain, where from its lofty vantage points, runners/walkers/hikers enjoy beautiful vistas of the Etowah River Valley, Allatoona Dam, Cooper's Furnace historic area and Allatoona Lake. Keep your eyes open for wildlife and other obstacles along this tough course. A donation of $30 is requested of all participants. All proceeds from this event will benefit Georgia Eye Bank. Participants and volunteers will receive snacks and a goodie bag. Prizes will be awarded to the Top Three Males and Females. Pre-register before Thursday, March 3, 2011. No race-day registration.

I-75 Exit 285, go west, then right traveling north on US 41. Turn right on Allatoona Dam Road. OR I-75 Exit 288, go south (due west) on GA 113, at 2nd traffic light turn left or southbound on US 41. Go approximately 1.5 miles, turn left onto Allatoona Dam Road.
