Join Cartersville Mayor Matt Santini and the Cartersville Parks & Recreation Department as they host this guided hike on Cartersville's Pine Mountain Trail to celebrate Spring beauty on the trail. The hike departs from the West Trailhead and embarks on a 1.57 mile hike to the summit at 1,562 feet above sea level for a stunning view of Allatoona Lake, the Etowah River Valley and the City of Cartersville. Hike may be canceled due to bad weather. Meet at 9:45 a.m. then depart with the group at 10 a.m. for a trek to the David G. Archer Overlook.

Directions
EAST LOOP TRAILHEAD: I-75 Exit 290, GA 20 east, then right at traffic light onto Spur 20. Go approximately 4 miles to parking area on right. WEST LOOP TRAILHEAD: I-75 Exit 288, go east, then right at Pine Mountain Trail and Komatsu signs. The trailhead parking area is on the left just before the gated entrance to Komatsu.
