Allatoona Lake, Cartersville, Georgia 9 a.m.-2 p.m. A day of environmental awareness and housekeeping, as scout groups, individuals and corporations join forces to clean up the shorelines of Allatoona Lake. Noon-2 p.m. a cookout with entertainment along with recognition and drawings for prizes will be held at Riverside A Day Use Area. A partnership of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Lake Allatoona Preservation Authority and corporate sponsors. Call for registration details.
