Booth Western Art Museum, Cartersville, Georgia
Join the Booth Western Art Museum for this four-day celebration of the West including art and history lectures, Western music and poetry concerts, "Cowpoke Corner" children's activities, pioneer demonstrations, an old-fashioned medicine show, Gunfight at the O.K. Corral re-enactments, Native American dancing with the Big Mountain family, a Western Marketplace, Cowboy Church, and much more. Featured artist is David DeVary. Art & History lectures by Dr. Mark White, Oklahoma State University; Michael Grauer, Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum; Gordon McConnell, independent curator & artist; Dr. Suzan Campbell, Eiteljorg Museum; Bruce Eldridge, Buffalo Bill Historical Center. Featured musicians and cowboy poets include Kip Calahan, Tom Kerlan, Doc Stovall & the Tumbleweed Cowboy Band, and Wylie and The Wild West (aka the famous Yahoo yodelers). I-75 Exit 288, go west 2.3 miles to downtown Cartersville. Turn right at Booth sign onto Gilmer Street. Museum is in the third block on the left, parking is on the right.

Museum Admission: $8 adults, $6 ages 65+ and Military with ID, $5 students, ages 12 & under free. Members admitted free.
Museum Hours: Tuesday-Wednesday 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday-Saturday 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday 1-5 p.m.
