An Evening at Oak Hill

Voices will echo once again in Oak Hill Cemetery as the Bartow History Center and StageWorks, Inc. presents "An Evening at Oak Hill." This tour through one of Bartow County's most important historic sites will give visitors the opportunity to learn about some of the area's fascinating residents of days past. Costumed actors will portray various Bartow Countians buried in the cemetery. Guides will take groups through the cemetery, stopping at the graves of those portrayed by the actors. Tours begin at 6:30 p.m. and take place each half hour, with the final tour at 8 p.m. Tickets are limited for each tour and must be purchased in advance at the BHC Museum Store or by calling 770-387-2774. BHC Members $10 and non-members $15. Tours last approximately one hour and involves hilly terrain. Guests are encouraged to bring a flashlight, and an umbrella in case of rain. Sponsored by Crescent Bank and Trust.

I-75 Exit 288, go west 2.5 miles to downtown Cartersville. Turn right onto Museum Drive before railroad. Continue to 2nd block on right, next to Grand Theatre.
