![]() Bartow History Museum ![]() 4 East Church Street Cartersville GA 30120 770-382-3818 www.bartowhistorymuseum.org A site on Northwest Georgia's Blue & Gray Trail The Bartow History Museum relocated to the 1867 Courthouse at 4 East Church Street, "under the bridge" in downtown Cartersville in December 2010. This museum's mission is to preserve the cultural, industrial and agricultural heritage of Bartow County and northwest Georgia. Visitors will delight in this glimpse back into the workshops, farmsteads, and mercantile located in this center of trade, politics and transportation. Artifacts, archives and oral histories from pioneer settlements to the early 20th Century can be viewed. ![]() The Museum Store offers a fine collection of local history books and other quality historic reproductions. Hours: Monday-Saturday 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Closed Sunday. Admission: $5.50 adults, $4.50 senior citizens ages 65+ and students, active duty military with I.D. and BHM members admitted free. Directions: from Atlanta, go north on I-75 to Exit 288. Go south on GA 113, approximately 2 miles to downtown Cartersville. Turn right on Wall Street/Museum Drive (before railroad crossing).
